Basingstoke Town Bowling Club is situated in the Fairfields conservation area one of the older residential parts of the town. We currently have around 50 bowling, 20 social and 10 life members

New members are always welcomed, whatever experience or age. Coaching is always available and club officers will try to ensure your time with us will be enjoyable.

In the year 2012 the Club will celebrate its centenary. A special committee has been formed to organize special events to mark this memorable anniversary. A sub division of this committee has been established with the sole purpose of facility improvements that include new changing rooms.

Latest News  »   February 2008 Moreton Cup run ends in semi-final defeat.   March 2008 The 2012 Development Committeee sit for the first time.   April 2008 EGM held in clubhouse. An excellent turn-out and team captains selected for up-coming season. Meeting planned with local Council with view to open green weekend 19/20th.   May 2008 Open day scheduled for Sunday May 11th. The following Sunday has been set aside for the annual 'Fun day'. Bring your family and friends along.   June 2008 The Club successfully hosts the annual friendly between the men's association and the local ladies.   July 2008 The annual Presidents Day was voted an overwhelming success. It was good to meet up with ex-Town bowlers that had moved away.   August 2008 The weather has played havoc with many of the Wednesday evening league games Nevertheless, most have been re-arranged with both teams 'in the hunt' for promotion..   September 2008 The Club's domestic finals have all been completed despite the inclement weather. It was nice to see some of the 'unfancied' individuals and pairs win honours this year. Congratulations to everyone..
